Ed's Tasting Notes

Colour: Natural; dark bronze, light tea. Oily in my glass, with tears that develop slowly.

Nose: Ocean spray and malt. Dark toffee, real farmhouse apple juice, and loose leaf tobacco. Charred, smokey, oak.

Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Toffee apples sprinkled with sea salt. Whole grain toast with orange marmalade. Gentle peat earthiness.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Dark fruitcake, peat, oak and warming spice.
