Macduff 13 Year Old Tasting Notes

Ed's tasting notes

Colour: Amber, oily in the glass with thick legs coating the side.

Nose: Toffee, red fruit, oak. Sherry-soaked fruits. Malt loaf with ginger and a little wood spice.

Palate: Medium to full mouthfeel. Rich sherried fruits - raisins, plums and figs. Dark ginger cake with exotic spice. Ginger brandy snaps with hazelnut and caramel.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Red orchard apples, oak and woody spice. Leaves the palate warm and invigorated, ready for another sip.
