Orkney 14 Year Old Tasting Notes

Nose: All toffee and butterscotch with the most delicate hint of smoke meandering through.

Palate: A feast wrapped up inside of a sherry bomb, explosions of vanilla and caramel but with a beautiful peat smoke and gentle balanced warmth.

Finish: Cream with butterscotch opens up to light pepper and floral smoke leaving a sweet taste preparing you for your next sip.

About this Kilnsman's Dram whisky

This is a fantastic heather-peated Scotch from a famous Orkney Distillery. We won't give away any names. In other news, I'm enjoying some HP sauce with my dinner. Anyway, back to the whisky. This cask strength, single cask whisky, was aged for 14 years in a first-fill European oak sherry Hogshead. Deep toffee in colour, this sherry bomb will delight. Only 146 bottles were bottled from this excellent cask.
