History
Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta Saten is crafted from Chardonnay grapes, harvested between late August and early September, vinified after a soft pressing and cold settling. The first refinement has a duration of seven months and is rested in steel and partly in barriques, it ages 30-36 months. It is produced by a brand that pays homage to the rich heritage of Italy and the style of making bright wines that draw inspiration from different terroirs, and the passion of the producers, preserve age-old practices time embracing contemporary techniques that advance the craft are each a bottle telling stories of exoticism and Italian innovation, blending the country’s cultural heritage with contemporary sparkling winemaking.
