Buffalo Trace products have been somewhat scarce these days, due to unprecedented interest in American bourbon. One workhorse, however, that has been completely overlooked in the venerable stable of Buffalo Trace products is Benchmark. What this means is that the same source for grains, the same stills, the same master distiller, and the same high-quality Ozark Mountain oak used for aging for the Buffalo Trace products is available through a different avenue.
