It is produced from agave piñas that have been baked in traditional brick ovens, with the juice extracted with a stoneroller mill. The cooked agave juice is twice distilled before being aged for eight months in French oak barrels. The aroma is that of cooked agave, oak, caramel, honey and vanilla. Strong oak notes combine with the taste of cooked agave, honey, and butterscotch. The finish is long for a Reposado, with a mild alcohol and lingering sweetness.
